RESIDENCES AND HOTELS
Where are?
Both the Residence and the Hotel are located on the coast of Vucanello on the side of the Levante bay. Surrounded by greenery, the apartments and rooms are a maximum of 200 meters from the sea and the lava rock coast, accessible for those who love snorkelling at sea and unforgettable bathing.
Its privileged position offers silence and relaxation even in the busiest periods on the island.

Check-in & check-out:
The check-in and check-out times have been designed to give our staff the possibility of sanitizing the rooms in a more thorough way. Therefore, arrival will be possible from 15.00 and departure before 10.00.
We anticipate these times to give you the opportunity to plan your entire trip in such a way as not to incur long waiting times, especially upon arrival for room delivery.
If you arrive before 3 pm or your departure is after 10.00 am, it will be possible to leave your luggage in the deposit for free.

Do all the rooms have a sea view?
Not all rooms have a sea view. On the online booking and/or on our official website, the types facing the sea bear the words "seafront, sea view or lateral or partial sea view".

Cleaning and sanitizing of the rooms
Upon departure, the room will be fully ventilated and the surfaces will be sterilized and sanitized with alcohol-based products. The cleaning staff is equipped with PPE regulated by the WHO.

Daily Hotel Room Reviews
The daily reviews are carried out from 08.00 to 15.00. Priority will be given to arriving rooms and to follow the stopped rooms. Being on an island where water is an even more precious asset considering the delicate ecosystem, we invite you to ask for it to be changed only if necessary, leaving the towels on the ground to be replaced. It is also possible to request to waive the daily cleaning service, to avoid wasting detergents that are harmful to the environment. It will be the responsibility of our cleaning staff to replace the bathroom products and linen that will be delivered to you at the time you will have indicated at the reception.

Can we connect to Wi-Fi?
Yes, it is possible to use the free wi-fi in the rooms and in the common areas, just connect by entering the password suggested by the hotel.

Do the hotels have a swimming pool?
Yes, the properties have a swimming pool.
Access times vary according to the Hotel. You will find this information in the Faq (in the "frequently asked questions" section) of the chosen hotel.
We remind you that the swimming pools are adjacent to some rooms, therefore, we invite you to respect the rest of the guests in the early afternoon and during the night.

When do the pools open?
The swimming pools are inaugurated in conjunction with the seasonal opening of the individual hotels and remain open until closing. * Is the water in the pools heated?*
The pools do not have artificial heating but are naturally heated by the sun's rays.

Do you provide pool and/or beach towels?
We provide pool towels free of charge, there are no change fees.
The supply of the beach towel for the first set is free, if you want to replace it, the cost is Euro 2.00 per towel.

Is there a lifeguard at the pool?
No, our pools reach a maximum depth of 1.30 m, so you can enjoy your swim in peace.

Is there entertainment in the pool?
There is no entertainment service. We ask, respecting everyone, not to play ball or other games that could cause disturbance.
This is to guarantee all our guests maximum privacy, relaxation and tranquility during the hours spent by the pool.

Do the hotels have a spa and/or gym?
No, but we have activated agreements, for those interested, with structures outside the structure, always in compliance with current safety and sanitation regulations.
To book any beauty services, we advise you to request information before your arrival.

Do the hotels have a parking space?
There is a free, video-monitored, unguarded outdoor parking area

Do you welcome four-legged friends?
Only small pets, on request when booking (except for the "Front Pool" rooms), with a supplement of €15.00 per day.

Is there an assistance/maintenance service?
For any disruption, please notify the reception.
Routine maintenance operations are carried out promptly by our staff. In the case of extraordinary interventions that require the assistance of specialized external technicians, it is possible that, if they are not available on the island, the timing will be different.

Do you have agreements with some seaside resorts?
Yes. We have agreements with the Lido Baia Negra situated in the Baia delle Sabbie Nere and with the Marina di Vulcanello for the Levante beach.
Both of our lidos will offer you relaxation, a wonderful sea and a beach like no other.
We advise you to book your sunbed and umbrella directly at reception.

BREAKFAST & RESTAURANT
Breakfast
Breakfast times may vary according to the hotel where you have chosen to stay.
You will find an international buffet to welcome you with sweet and savory products.
The breakfast room is set up in complete safety respecting distances and sanitation.
The use of the mask is required to access the room, this in respect of our staff and other guests.
It is also possible to request breakfast in the room, always at the times indicated, upon reservation and for a fee.
The reception will be happy to give you all the information.

Do the hotels have a snack bar service?
At the facility it is possible to consume drinks, aperitifs and light lunches by the pool.

Is there an internal restaurant?
No, but we have an agreement with the restaurant "la Bottega" located in the main square of Vulcano.

Is there nightlife on the island in the evening?
Vulcano is the youngest island and offers a rich offer of entertainment both day and night.

What's the best way to get around the island?
The scooter is undoubtedly the easiest way to explore the island, comfortably reach all points of interest and avoid traffic in high season.
The car is preferable for families with children or for those who have no experience of driving on two wheels.

Is the beach made up of pebbles or sand?
All the beaches on the island are made up of volcanic sand. You can choose between equipped establishments and free beaches.
On the island of Stromboli and Vulcano there are black sand beaches, a must see!

What do I need to climb Vulcano or Stromboli?
The climb to the crater of Vulcano is of medium-low difficulty and takes about an hour. In Stromboli it is possible to independently follow a path that leads to the "Sciara del Fuoco" up to a maximum of 280 m. To go further it is necessary to be accompanied by a Volcanological Guide to be booked in advance.
Access to trails on both islands is subject to volcanic activity.
Comfortable clothing is required, trainers, high socks as there is a lot of sand, anoraks, spare T-shirts and water (a backpack is also recommended)

Can I book excursions before arriving at the hotel?
For your tailor-made holiday, it is possible to purchase packages on our website that include a stay plus excursions and experiences. In general, we recommend booking directly on the spot for boat trips, and not before, in order to be able to choose what to do based on the weather and sea conditions.
In August, on summer weekends and during long weekends, advance booking is recommended.

Can we rent a scooter or a car before arrival?
Yes, we can provide you with estimates of the various rentals to which a deposit must be sent. Prices change according to the model of the vehicle and the duration of the rental.

Can I rent a boat before arrival?
Of course, you can book a boat with or without a driver and a deposit will be required. Remember, if the engine is greater than 40 horsepower, a boat license is required or a driver can be requested from the rental company for an additional fee. Prices vary according to the model of the vehicle and the duration of the rental. The cost of fuel consumption is not included, which varies according to the miles travelled. In August, on summer weekends and during long weekends, advance booking is recommended.

HOW TO REACH US
How can I reach the islands?

Is there a shuttle service to/from the port on arrival and departure?
The return shuttle service takes place by booking based on availability and with an additional supplement from a minimum of 10.00 Euros per ride to a maximum of 30.00 Euros.

Is there a tax on the stay?
No, the municipality of Lipari is exempt from the tourist tax as there is a landing tax (the cost of which varies according to the season) which is charged as a one-off supplement to the outward ticket for free circulation in all the islands of the municipality of Lipari (Lipari, Vulcano, Panarea, Stromboli, Filicudi and Alicudi).

Where do I leave the car when I take the hydrofoil to Milazzo?
It is possible to leave the car in a guarded parking lot (with shuttle service from/to the port) or you can rent a car in all the airports of Sicily with the possibility of DROP Off at the port of Milazzo with the Sicily Rent Car company. You will find the booking link at the bottom of this page.

Is it allowed to bring the car to the island?
From June 1st to September 30th, there is a municipal disembarkation ban (for the islands of Lipari, Vulcano and Filicudi) for cars and motorbikes of non-residents with the exception of guests who have booked at least 7 nights at the hotel. In case of need, please contact us directly to receive the appropriate car pass before arrival.

Are the links always functional? Even Sundays and public holidays?
Yes, the connections are always active with the exception of days with adverse weather and sea conditions. In Lipari, where the largest and most sheltered port is located, connections are rarely interrupted for the whole day. In this case, if you are arriving, we advise you to contact us as soon as possible to find alternative accommodation.
For your peace of mind, we advise you to take out Allianz insurance on your stay within 48 hours of direct booking confirmation so as to be covered for this case as well. Contact us for more details.

Is it possible to organize transfers from the airport with you?
Certainly! We take care of your holiday from the moment you request it. You book your flight and stay and we'll take care of the rest.

BOOKINGS AND MORE...
Can I cancel a reservation?
If you have booked a stay with "free cancellation" you can cancel a reservation without penalty within the set deadlines, this information is contained in your booking confirmation email. In the event that you have paid a deposit and canceled within the terms, the amount will be refunded to you net of bank charges by the beginning of the month following the cancellation date.
If you have booked a "non-refundable" stay, this reservation is non-cancellable and non-refundable.
It is possible to change the dates ONLY for direct bookings, made from our website or through our booking office, if communicated by email within 15 days before arrival. The amount of the stay is transferable but not divisible.
For your greater peace of mind, if you wish, it is possible to activate insurance on your stay and/or travel within 48 hours of confirmation. You will find the insurance activation link in the booking confirmation email. Remember that this insurance coverage is provided only for direct bookings (made from our website or through our booking office).
Thanks to this insurance policy, you will be able to receive a refund directly from the insurance company if you have to suddenly interrupt your stay for family, health, work reasons and/or force majeure (see contractual conditions).

How do I cancel or change a reservation?
If you have booked directly from our site or through our reservations office, just connect to our site and in the "Modify/Cancel" section enter the reservation number and send. You will receive an email confirming the modification or cancellation.
If you have booked with a booking portal (e.g. Booking.com / Expedia etc.) or travel agency you will need to contact their customer service. The reservation can neither be modified nor canceled by us.
